Mar Caribe
La principal preocupación en la cuenca es huracán Matthew en el Caribe Central. Lloviznas son de la costa de Oeste de Cuba... y sobre el Golfo de Honduras. Mas precipitaciones se observan en el radar al norte y al sur de Puerto Rico moviéndose rápidamente de oeste con los vientos del este. En los niveles superiores, vientos del oeste prevalecen sobre el Caribe excepto en Matthew. Se presta atención a Matthew para seguirle la pista sobre todo al norte durante los próximos tres o cuatro días.
La Española
Se tienen Chubascos moderados y dispersos junto con mareas altas a lo largo de la costa sur de La Española debido al huracán Matthew. Se tiene la expectativa de que Matthew se acerque a Haití en los próximos días. Un aviso de HURACÁN esta en efecto para Haití, mientras que una advertencia de Tormenta Tropical esta en efecto para la República Dominicana desde Barahona hacia el oeste a la frontera con Haití.

CARIBBEAN SEA...
The main concern in the basin is Hurricane Matthew located in
the Central Caribbean. See the special features section for
details. Scattered showers are off the coast of W Cuba...and
over the Gulf of Honduras. More showers are noted on radar both
north and south of Puerto Rico moving quickly west with the
easterlies. In the upper levels, westerlies prevail over the
Caribbean except over Matthew. Expect Matthew to follow a mostly
northerly track over the next three to four days.
...HISPANIOLA...
Scattered moderate convection together with high surf is along
the southern coast of Hispaniola due to Hurricane Matthew.
Expect Matthew to move closer to Haiti over the next several
days. A Hurricane Warning is in effect for Haiti, while a
Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for the Dominican Republic
from Barahona westward to the border with Haiti.
